Hot take: case studies don’t need wireframes.

When you’re starting out, you show everything: research, flows, wireframes. But over time, that stuff becomes second nature, and you don’t need to put it all in a case study.

I’ve been seeing more and more portfolios focusing on visuals and clean flows. Good UX is invisible, and strong UI often tells the story better than a sitemap.

I still use all the UX tools, just don’t feel the need to show every step anymore.
