It makes me nostalgic to remember those days. The pay was not so good, and I had no idea I could make a good living as a designer. But my obsession with design made me not want to quit or do anything else besides design. I was so crazy about it that my girlfriend couldn’t stand me talking about design nonstop 24/7. Thanks, babe, for putting up with my shit back then and now.

I’ve done design work for advertising agencies, music equipment sellers, corporate businesses, small businesses, giant businesses, weird clients, clients who paid me on time, clients who didn’t pay me and got away with it, free work, concept work, and work I did in exchange for goods. All of this made me the designer and person I am today.
