I've seen so many posts about AI this, AI that, AI is gonna steal our jobs, AI is generating ready-to-use UI, AI is generating UI for Figma, and bla bla. But being a designer is much more than just designing.

Being a designer is studying the craft from people you love and applying that to your own work. Being a designer is testing colors, fonts, shapes, layouts, compositions, and getting that feeling that things just click. Being a designer is doing one more iteration when you haven't felt that things are right yet. Being a designer is using a typeface to the proper sizing, and knowing that the same typeface in a different size won't work for that project. Being a designer is something that I love to do, and AI is never gonna "steal" that human touch.
